OGE to develop a multi-technology renewable energy project in South Wales
Olive Green Energy has concluded the final stages of commercial negotiations, with the owner of a commercial warehouse complex in South Wales, to develop a multi-technology renewable energy project. The first stage of the project will consist of a Biomass CHP plant and potentially a 2.5MW wind turbine. The CHP plant will supply heat to the warehouse tenants as well as an onsite industrial user. Together with the wind turbine, the project will have a combined electrical power output of approximately 3.5MWe.
It is believed that this project is unique in its use of various renewable technologies, and is a perfect example of how Olive Green Energy is able to apply the most appropriate technology mix to maximise a particular site's energy generation potential.
